“My Life Experiences: From Sciences Po to the Olympia” with Anne Roumanoff
Monday, November 18 at 7:00 pm at We Are
73 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré
Anne Roumanoff
A graduate of Sciences Po, Anne began writing sketches early on and persisted to become the comedian we know today, who has been a fixture on the French stage for over 30 years!
After earning her high school diploma at 17, Anne entered Sciences Po in the 1980s and graduated a few years later.
She then pursued theater, attended auditions, and faced several rejections before finally landing an opportunity on television—at a time when there were only three channels!
This marked the beginning of her rise, and shortly afterward, she performed her first One Woman Show!
Anne has performed on the most prestigious stages in Paris.
In 2010, she was named the French people’s favorite comedian and even had her statue unveiled at the Grévin Museum!
Anne has also made significant contributions to television and radio, maintaining an incredible career on stage for over 30 years.
A woman with a big heart, she founded the association “Les Soignants,” which has already equipped more than 2,800 rest areas to improve the daily lives of hospital staff.
