Féminin Pluriel with Laurence Bovy: Leadership, Engagement, and Resilience

Leading a major organization in a predominantly male environment, driving change, and promoting diversity and inclusion are just some of the challenges Laurence Bovy has been tackling with determination for several years.

Having previously chaired SNCB and the Port of Brussels, she now heads VIVAQUA, a key player in Brussels, ensuring access to quality drinking water for 2.25 million residents. Laurence Bovy is also the President of SFPIM (the Belgian Sovereign Wealth Fund).

During this event, she will share her journey, values, and commitment to fostering more inclusive and participatory governance.

On the agenda:

  • Women in Leadership: How to assert oneself and challenge traditional codes in a male-dominated environment
  • The Impact of VIVAQUA: Ensuring access to water – a strategic and societal challenge
  • Encouraging Diversity: Promoting women in technical professions
  • Authenticity, Resilience, and Passion: The keys to an inspiring career

With her energy, curiosity, and resilience, Laurence will share valuable insights from her experiences and inspiring lessons.

An unmissable evening for all those who aspire to combine engagement, leadership, and values.

In October 2024, she inaugurated the first House for Women, Mothers, and Children bearing her name on the island of Réunion.

deconstructing gender binarity

deconstructing gender binarity

Gender inclusive language, inclusive language, non-binary forms, gender inclusive… Surely you have heard of this at some point. The truth is that it can be called many things in different linguistic communities, but it always produces some controversy. What really is “inclusive language”? During this workshop gathering representatives of all the women’s associations in Luxembourg, the insights and recommendations of all CNFL members will be assembled into a preliminary document for future discussions on inclusive training and a concept of gender equality, in alignment with the Ministry’s approach.
